I've qualified IIT-JEE and i'm not sick!

I've been waiting for this one since ages. And,now, when i have the opportunity want to grab it with both hands. I might sound kind of orthodox but, I'm just spilling out the matters de facto. It's not uncommon to hear,"IIT nahi hua to kia hua?'Waise bhi aajkal itne IITs khul gaye hai ki unki brand value hi nahi reh gayi'.'Arrey, pata hai this Akdam Bagdam Institute of Technology has MoUs with top international colleges?''What's the point setting your haunches on fire for two years to get into a college where an aag ka dariya  awaits you?'Arrey Rachit ne toh koi IIt waiIIT nahi kia'.'Par dekho aaj ladka kitna upar chala gaya hai?'Waise bhi IIM ki zyaada value hai!'' hame to na ji apne bacche pe itna stress daalna hi nahi hai!'
Well for starters, chahe sau aur IITs khul jaye ,do you think a certain Mahadivya Institute of Technology(MIT...psssst) would beat it?How many IITians you know who have gone into the oblivion, became losers, etc?Well, I can't recall a single one. And to add to that, with the literacy level going up the number of persons appearing for one of the most  'think out of box' examinations have gone up exponentially. The increase in number of The Modern Temples of learning seems a sensible move if not anything. And still, only about 2% of the appearing candidates qualify. And if you’re telling me that the qualifiers are plain Maggus then seriously man, you need to meet them. And I cannot help but think of reasons why in the first place the world is go-hung about the IITian .?
And ,of course, non-IITians do make it big. But, a little jogging of your brain cells and whoops !!!!!!majority of them are IIMites or their US-UK counterparts.Still, just facts you know. It’s completely up to you. It’s not uncommon these days to turn a blind eye to the reality anyways!
Well, I’m just saying that it’s not my ‘fault ‘that I  managed to soar past 3.56 lacs others and got myself into one of the most illustrious institutes not only in India, but, also world over. I might sound insecure saying this aloud but I’m proud to be an IITian!!!.I’m just stating the truth per se.They say empty vessels make the loudest noise.Well,I seriously hope so because I’ve emptied my cerebral ones in writing this ………whatever you may call it. And for those who say ‘hame na ji apne bacchon pe pressure nahi dalna hai’,only God help them and their wards. If you want your child to run away from the so-called stress;then, send him/her to a spa instead of a school or college. And don’t you dare show display your insecurity towards your sweethearts future in such an inappropriate and disgusting manner.Yes,your child may someday become the king or the queen of the world. But,that doesn’t mean that I’ll remain a vagabond!
Also I would say that life doesn’t end if you don’t make to the merit list of the IIT-JEE but. at the same time it doesn’t end after getting there! On the other hand it may prove to be a roller coaster ride from there. I don’t have anything against the non-IIT-JEE junta. But,at the same time, why do some of them nurture hatred against us? As a human being am I not allowed to revel in my success? And it may be apparent ,but I’m not being snobby and at the same time I’m unapologetic about making it to here.
I’d conclude by saying “C’est la vie.”

HAVE YOU "BOOKED" YOUR FACE YET?

Want to know if your cute neighbor is single or committed? How does your grown-up niece look like?Where and how are your old buddies?Planning a reunion?Want to share your joys and sorrows with far-off family members and friends where communicating via telephone is an expensive thought?
If your answer to the above  questions is yes ,then FACEBOOK.COM is the place for you to be.This social networking website launched in February 2004 has taken the cyber world by storm. As of March 2011, Facebook has more than 690 million active users.Registered users can create their personal profile, add other users as friends, exchange messages as 'chats',write on a personalized cyber space also known as one's 'wall' updates of which will be visible to your near and dear ones.....and many more !!!Founded by Harvard students Mark Zuckerberg,Eduardo Saverin,Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz, this social networking phenomenon has beaten the likes of Orkut,Myspace and Mocospace, fair and square. Its founder Mark Zuckerberg,27, is the youngest billionaire in the world with an estimated net worth of $13.5 billion.
But,it hasn't been all rosy for the founders as the social networking site has faced severe criticism on various issues like online privacy, child safety(its minimum age for registration is 13 against other sites whose minimum requirement is 18) and the hindrance faced in deleting the account if its contents are not deleted.Following these incidents, the company renewed the site's terms and conditions of use in 2008.Facebook has been sued several times.A film has also been made on it titled,"The Social Network" and has also won an Academy award.
Love it or hate it,lets 'face' it....you cannot ignore it.That's Facebook for you. So,what are you waiting for?

TUJHE SAB HAI PATA HAI NA MAA..

It's very difficult to be a mother and being a mother of Prakhar Sahay.......well.just forget i!!!!!!!!!!t.It's my very first day of blogging,so,readers discretion is recommended.
I am not known to be a very open person;it's just because i am too emotional and sensitive a person and feel embarrassed to open to anyone.
On the ocassion of Mother's day i'll share some mamma's boy emotions.I don't know where to start from...hmmm.....well.......let's say my mom is the most honest, innocent and fortright person 've ever come across.Sometimes , she tries to be this clever and cunning type......but mom,you are a horrible actor!!she doesn't believe in holding her emotions back.....a trait which sometimes irritates me .but deep down i feel blessed to be the son of Namita Sahay. Now' i can go on like every other so describing how she had to coax me to focus and study, stop playing for hours together in the scorching sun, wear a sweater when moving out in the delhi ki sardi.....but...well ...i just can't!!!!!!!!only God knows why.........people ask me what's the happiest moment of life and i say it was seeing tears of  joy in my mom's eyes when my 10th standard and IIT-JEE results were out..........and i've never told her.just can't muster the courage to......:(.It feel sad and pathetic, but' i won't be able to hold back my tears.....i just can't do away with my cool and stoic image...but whatever .........I LOVE U MAMMA..........someday 'll bring back the tears of joy in your eyes.. i promise.......i promise.......
